Raymond Briggs CBE (1934 –2022)
Raymond Briggs was a patron of Stop Hinkley from the early days until his death in August 2022. He was an illustrator, cartoonist, graphic novelist and author best known for ‘The Snowman’. He also wrote ‘When the Wind Blows’, a graphic novel that shows a nuclear attack on Britain published in 1982.

Terry Jones (1942-2020)
Terry Jones, a Patron of Stop Hinkley for many years, sadly passed away in January 2020. He was an actor, writer, comedian, screenwriter, film director, historian, and a member of the Monty Python comedy team.

Dame Vivienne Westwood (1941 – 2022)
Vivienne Westwood was a fashion designer, largely responsible for bringing modern punk and new wave fashions into the mainstream, as well as an active climate campaigner. She had been a patron since 2016 and sadly passed away 29 December 2022.
